About Psychodynamic Therapy
Many of us carry experiences from our past, particularly those that are painful or difficult. This can affect where we are currently in our lives and also in the way we view ourselves and our relationship with others.
In our sessions, we’ll take time to explore your thoughts and feelings together in a reflective space. This helps to gain insight and understanding into what might be going on for you at a deeper, less conscious level.
I offer weekly psychodynamic counselling in Bournemouth and Southampton, at a regular, agreed time.
The first step is to arrange an initial consultation by email.
I am an experienced Psychodynamic counsellor with over 10 years experience of working one-to-one with adults, offering psychodynamic therapy in the Bournemouth and Southampton area.
I am a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
SCoPEd category C (the most advanced level of the SCoPEd framework).
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties and have a particular interest in the perinatal period.
I am undertaking specialist training in Perinatal Psychotherapy (2027).

Alongside my general practice, I have developed a particular interest in working during the perinatal period and am currently undertaking specialist training in Perinatal Psychotherapy.
